What happened?
In the aftermath of the incident, Hyderabad Police have filed a case against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the management of Sandhya Theatre. It includes culpable homicide not amounting to murder and voluntarily causing hurt.
Reports indicate that Revathi, 35, and her 13-year-old son Sri Tej became overwhelmed by the large crowd at the theatre. Police officers on duty immediately rescued them from the lower balcony. They administered CPR before transporting them to the nearby Durgabai Deshmukh Hospital. But sadly, the mother was pronounced dead. Her son was subsequently advised to transfer to another hospital for advanced care.
